As a legal sector specialist, we have a long history of working with specialist legal applications. 11 years to be exact. So we were delighted when we were recently awarded partner status on the Thomson Reuters Elite Global Strategic Alliance partner program.
In order to meet Thomson Reuters’ strict criteria, we had to demonstrate specialist knowledge and experience of working with their software to ensure the highest standards are met.
Here are 3 examples we gave of the different projects we’ve completed for firms using Thomson Reuters applications…
BTO Solicitors LLP, a leading independent Scottish law firm, approached CTS when looking for an agile and highly available solution which would meet the performance demands of their financial management software and other applications.
CTS designed a new Managed Hosting environment for the firm which integrated with the firm’s existing systems in order to facilitate and maximise the success of the deployment of their new Thomson Reuters software. The solution also ensures there’s a robust business continuity and disaster recovery solution in place to keep IT systems running in the event of a service interruption.
Stone King employs over 220 staff in offices located in Bath, London, Cambridge & Leeds. To cope with the increased pressure on their in-house team, Stone King appointed CTS to provide a Managed Support service to ensure their infrastructure is proactively monitored and managed.
Tim Roche, Head of IT at Stone King said With our increasing size, national footprint and with teams working across offices and practice groups, our ability to communicate effectively in different locations is dependent on our IT functioning efficiently. CTS have a number of similar clients using the same software applications as we do, such as Elite 3E & MatterSphere, as well as BigHand. Because they have that specialised experience, they can respond quickly and knowledgeably to support queries and provide expert guidance.
With over 400 employees across London and the South, MW Solicitors are one of the fastest growing firms in the country. CTS provides a Managed Backup and Disaster Recovery service to ensure uptime of critical systems for the firm’s 20 offices.
David Fazakerley, CIO for MW Solicitors said MW Solicitors is growing rapidly so having robust, scalable and secure IT systems is critical to the smooth running of our firm. We chose to work with CTS due to their experience within the legal sector and understanding of our specific requirements. This solution helps to protect against the impact of potential cyber attacks and service interruptions, ensuring a reliable service for our clients.
