Linder Myers move to the cloud with ConvergeTS

Converge TS has secured a new £600k, 3 year contract with Linder Myers Solicitors to move the firm to a cloud based infrastructure located in its Manchester datacentres. The move will rationalise Linder Myers’ infrastructure services, reduce its hardware and software overhead costs and increase fee earner profitability. By embracing the benefits of the cloud, the firm also aims to further enhance its service to clients by enabling fee earners to access client data anywhere, from any device.

Tony Stockdale, Linder Myers’ chief executive commented: “This is a key development as Linder Myers moves forward to a new phase and allows the business to better compete within the increasingly challenging legal sector. Rationalising the firm’s IT infrastructure will not only deliver significant cost savings for Linder Myers but more importantly, allow us to better service clients across our offices in Manchester, Chester, Lancashire and Shropshire.”

Nigel Wright, Converge TS managing director said: “We aim to position ourselves as the go-to cloud provider for UK professional firms and this is another step in the right direction. It is great to see Linder Myers embracing the benefits of the cloud.

“Law firms want a flexible, secure and compliant service enabling their staff to maximise productivity while improving service to clients. We have worked hard to tailor our cloud services to meet this growing demand and are looking forward to further expansion this year.”
