New customer wins – Tayntons and Croftons come on board

We are pleased to announce that we have secured two new major contracts.

For full-service, Gloucester-based law firm Tayntons, we will be providing a fully-managed cloud service for 60 users, and a fully managed IT and cloud disaster recovery service to 45 members of staff at Croftons, the property law firm based in Manchester.

We are proud to say that, with these two major new customers on board, we now provide cloud-based services and IT outsourcing to 60 law firms across the country.

Both Croftons and Tayntons tell us that our depth of understanding and wealth of expertise in the legal sector gives them the confidence that we can help them quickly become more focused, agile and responsive to market opportunities.

Understanding the legal sector is key

Tayntons has been providing full legal services to the Gloucestershire region for over 150 years, and has been fully engaged in its community as well as offering services nationwide.

As partner Andrew Ollerenshaw explains, the firm is now looking to improve its infrastructure, disaster recovery plans and ability to work remotely, as well as having increased accessibility and scalability that is so important to the business. Moving to the cloud will help the firm meet that need.

What was important to Andrew was finding a cloud-services provider that wasn’t just knowledgeable about its own industry, but that it had the expertise and experience to match.

“ConvergeTS has a great reputation and fantastic client portfolio, which is why we chose them,” explains Andrew. “That they also came across as professional, knowledgeable and simply nice people, was icing on the cake.”

North-West firm, Croftons, has also been established for over 150 years. Its core business is in housing and regeneration. What drove the business to approach cloud-service providers was the need for the business to become a slicker and more efficient operation.

“ConvergeTS were successful because they understand what we do and how we do it,” explains finance and practice director, Naeem Dean. “I am confident that they will help us achieve our goal to work more flexibly, maintain constant widespread connectivity, recover any lost data swiftly and, importantly, be able to integrate new devices and upgrades easily.

“This will therefore enable us to deliver our excellent service to clients from anywhere at any time.”

It’s this need for greater flexibility and agility that is driving law firms to identify new, more efficient ways of working. By using IT to deliver that efficiency, moves IT from being a cost centre to a profit centre, which really is icing on the cake.

The team at Converge would like to thank Andrew at Tayntons and Naeem at Croftons and their teams for choosing us to help them meet their goals.
